Project Updates… and a picture of a big ass crab!

Since I’m doing this on the fly, I wanted to get in and out.  Here we go with PROJECT UPDATES!
1) 2 0 3 – nobodies really read it!  So sad because it’s pretty damn good. Soon, soon.
2) American Monster – it’s a tough one because of it’s graphic nature and the fact that it’s “based [...]

That Old Gray Mare… actually still has some miles on her.

Through my oxycodone haze I had to keep working.
The last week has been a little rough. Both knees ’scoped. No, it’s not brain surgery, but it’s no picnic, either. If my ass didn’t hurt from sitting too long, my swollen knees were yelling for me to get off of them, and vice-versa. When I was [...]

The Monster Under the Bed: Exposition.

I didn’t write the song. I wish I did.  It is kind of catchy.
But, come on, for what other reason would one whisper other than to “not be too loud”?  That’s needless exposition.

My parachute pants.

My spec scripts average over 26,000 words, so I cut myself some slack for the occasional typo.  Sure, they annoy me. But in the grand scheme of a 26,000+ word story, 2 or 3 typos doesn’t eat me up too bad.  By the time it’s left my hands, I’ve read it 30 times, maybe more. [...]

Bummer!

Jeez, my last BLOG was a little preachy and pissy, wasn’t it? Sorry! My bad!
Finished dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s for “Pinky Promise”. Here’s the logline:
Every red-blooded American male wants to be in Ms. Beasley’s class. Attractive, young, and emotionally damaged, Ms. Beasley steps over the line and into the eager grasp of [...]

UNTITLED done, but not TITLED

Finished yesterday.  One hundred eighty pages.  Yikes!  It just sort of took a while to tie up all of the loos ends – so shoot me.  It was, by far, the most satisfying of stories for me.  It was (in my flawed opinion) : entertaining, shocking, “message-y”, violent, poignant, sad.  I was very satisfied when [...]
