Slasher’s come. Slasher’s go. A dime a dozen? Sure.  Most quickly fade into obscurity. Mocked. Forgotten. But a few stick around.

Back in 1978, at the tender age of 11, I saw Halloween. 

I just watched the remake of ‘Wizard of Gore.’ I didn’t like it. I was expecting something campy, lotsa of nude girls, lots of gore. What I got was a sort of straight-up horror film (with a lot of gore and a lot of nude chicks).

Say your writing The Next Big Thing. A sci-fi story. It takes place in space. Maybe a creature feature on some enormo space-liner that whips around the galaxy at speeds faster than light pushed and pulled by an energy bubble of dark light.  Maybe this beauty:
