BIO OF MARK E. DAVIDSON
Mark Davidson’s love for all things movie-related was born during white-hot Houston days spent hiding from what can only be characterized as “violent” sunshine, AC cranked, VCR humming through yet another viewing of Alien, Hellraiser, Halloween, The Thing, Blade Runner or some other bizarre, obscure horror movie. He soon traded his computer expertise for free VHS rentals. Life was good.
After graduating with a B.S. in Business, Mark toiled in corporate America working for companies like Dell and the ill-fated Enron. Always a glass half-full guy, Mark took the Enron wake up call to mean “get on your horse and follow your heart” and so out came his first screenplay, a much too-long spec script about the horrors or retail. It wasn’t very good. He has since cranked out many more original screenplays (all much much better than his first) in subsequent years.
Mark, 43, is married with a 16-year-old daughter. He still does his best to hide from the sun in Houston, Texas.
